It’s no secret that texting has become the dominant form of communication for teenagers in our society. While there are many issues with new technologies, I believe we can’t simply ignore them. I feel that teaching the kids how to use technology for good purposes is vital so they can learn the positives of these new inventions, and avoid the negatives.
We have a new initiative. WWJT. What Would Jesus Text. This isn’t just about the content of text messages; it’s a step toward using texting for prayers, and then sharing those intentions with friends. We have recently added scripture to the text messages as well.
